Beach - A long stretch of silky sand great for sunbathing, swimming, strolling along the beach, beach volleyball, and more. Covered palapas, beach loungers and chairs are available.

Tennis - A lighted tennis court is available for guests.

Golf - Enjoy golf at The Golf Club at Playacar and The Golf Club at Moon Palace. Tee times may be reserved prior to arrival. Optional golf package may include one round of golf daily, use of shared cart, and transportation between the golf course and hotel.

Pools - The resort has two rooftop pools and another outdoor pool.

Water Sports - Plenty of water sports at the hotel, including swimming, pool basketball, pool volleyball, water polo, and pool aerobics. Motorized water sports are available from third party vendors renting along the beach. Beach Palace provides boogie boards. Aquaworld is a major third-party provider of water sports including parasailing, personal watercraft, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling.

Deep Sea Fishing - Plan a fishing trip to nearby Cozumel Island, which boasts some of the best fishing anywhere. Several fishing excursions are available through third party tour operators.

Exploration and Site seeing - There are several Mayan ruins and exploration opportunities in the region. Sight seeing venues offer vacationers several options: Xcaret with its underground rivers, diving, snorkeling, and coral reefs; the natural aquariums at Xel-Ha; the ancient Mayan port of Tulum containing many curious buildings; the villages and cities of Puerto Morelos, San Miguel, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun. Bicycles can be rented in some of these areas. Some tours and excursions are included in the all-inclusive package: Tulum Mayan Ruins, Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins, Chichen Itza Light Show, Isla Mujeres, Coba Mayan Ruins, and Ek-Balam Mayan Ruins. Optional tours not included but available for additional charge are Cozumel, jungle tour, Xcaret, bull fights, horseback riding, Lobster Dinner Cruise, and swim with dolphins.

Shopping - There are shops inside the hotel for various items, including gifts, incidentals, snack foods, beverages, and souvenirs.

Diving & Snorkeling - Pure, transparent waters make for spectacular diving and snorkeling. Third party tour operators can assist you in securing an outing.

Kids Club - Your little ones will enjoy the Kids Club, available for children 4 to 12 years of age. A lunch and dinner menu of chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, ham, turkey and cheese sandwiches, chicken, turkey and tuna salads, fruit cocktails, jello, flan, and other desserts will be served. Schedules of supervised activities are available and include Mexican legends, games, tennis, water coloring, beach soccer, basketball, drawing, mini golf, puppet shows, cookie baking, karaoke, and much more! Operating hours are from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. An adult must accompany children under 4 years old.

Entertainment - Daytime entertainment program, including stretching classes, sand-castle building, lessons for Spanish language, dancing, and cooking; ping-pong (and tournaments). Evening entertainment program includes music/dance shows, karaoke, and bingo.
